Jul 1 Tue 5 Muharam 1447H, at HOME in Sg Merab. Alya popped-in for the evening x-Everly Alamanda on job assignment in Perbadanan Putrajaya. CB fetched and sent. As always the house of Sg Merab needed attention after every fortnight of leave. Mowing, pruning, etc were done accordingly.

Jul 3 Thu 7 Muharam 1447H, a quick visit to Pasar Bangi for some kitchen sundries. Noted the wet area was rather quiet. The food stalls however were fully visited. Perhaps Sat-Sun are merrier. Mon is closed. This market is known for high price. Met an old acquaintance, SUHAIMI MUSLIM, a fellow SAS-ian. And another UKM general staff retiree.

Jul 9 Wed 13 Muharam 1447H, a quick visit to PKNS, the place once upon a time in Bangi, the land mark. The building was dwarf-ed and surrounded by taller buildings, that one needed waze to locate it. The anchor grocer stood there unmoved since the earliest I knew and visited. But while in it, the sound of the workers was very eerie indeed especially when they talk among themselves. On homeward, NA pin-ed a viral FnC stall in Sg Tangkas. Acquired the following day. It was a repeatable menu.

Jul 12 Sat 16 Muharam 1447H, DRVTGG, the routine. Again dropping in Balok Perdana Kuantan, passing on ca a half lit of GGLVH jus to Zaki to try. Overall traffic was fine except a building up in KL-side. And the weather too, with less shiny sky though. Refreshed and refuelled in Temerloh RR. Home-ed in W-Tgh just before dark noting that all were in order.

Jul 5 Sat 9 Muharam 1447H, visiting Bazaar Tenera for the same purpose of restocking the kitchen. Ending the day, ank-cu2 gathered for a makan2 plus briefing on their intended fam-day Sep 5-7 in Melaka. Ruby-Malini-Zidni-Muzani were in, minus those who could not make. Alya-SB were online when they were talking about it. Cake-ing was a never miss.

Rather Hazy

Jul 16 Wed 20 Muharam 1447H, DRV-JERTEH with an high anxiousness. On arriving singgah Jertih town for the serindit, etc. Spent in P-Rimau, and as expected. The pisang all gone, strangely they kept on alive that when the time comes, they bear the jantung nicely. The undergrowth was raving under the sun during the day, and showered by dew at night. The main task of making the gate fully openable was achieved using an iron hammer. Crow bars, and grinder were ineffective. Tok Bugis was also visited. And similarly overwhelmed by the undergrowth. A deriang tree was uprooted, close to the one which was uprooted some while ago, perhaps similarly by a storm, and was being attended to recover the timber. NA had a suggestion who. Luckily we were blessed with three pcs of deriang, from the tree near the uprooted tree. The rest of the trees were not seen to be bearing any fruit. Other fruits were also not seen, unlike usually, apart from deriang, manggis, duku, dokong, langsat were also seasoning together.

Jul 24 Thu 28 Muharam 1447H, DRVKUL. Opted the old road JERANGAU-JABOR to see after last year last, especially the infamous bend. The weather through out was nice. In whole the Jerangau-Jabor route was rather quitet. Noticeable was the browning of the oil palm leaves. Took LPT1 at Jabor, after a refreshment in Chenih. And again the traffic was smooth even though it was a bit heavier than we usually in, especially in Karak-KL route. Even MRR2 was steady. Home in Sg Merab just after asar, as estimated, with pax-ed dinner ex-uniten bazaar. KL was dry with some hazy air.

Jul 26 SAT 1 Safar 1447H, visiting Bazaar Tenera with the help of Asri and Arifah before ank2 gathered. Alya et al arrived in the early morning x-JB, and SBHANIs in late morning x-iKeroh. The rest were in late evening. Sans though Muzani's who himself was in a fishing frolic in Kelantan. As always, Kek-ing was not missed for the July-ians. Zidni brief-ed the update for the Sep Kalang Balok gathering. Alya et al plus Munif preceded DRV-JB in the morning followed by SBHANIS DRV-iKEROH in the evening the next day Sun.

Jul 17 Thu 21 Muharam 1447H, DATARAN TEMESU was visited. The last resort after strolling J-GongBadak for a smartfoon w-shop, to fix realme which was accidentally dropped face down yesterday on the step out of WLU to the bazaar in WT. Singgah one by the INFINIX, and the task was accomplished the foon was fixed, it was just the screen replacement, others were intact.

Jul 18 Fri 22 Muharam 1447H, poking the morning BAZAAR MARAS for a minimal kitchen sundries. As appointed, had a b-fast with Dr Abdullah Sipat and mem at the nearby stall. In the evening, the kiddo p-ground site was eventually mow-ed, to note to cease maintenance if the annoy is repeated.

Jul 19 Sat 23 Muharam 1447H, another DRV-JERTEH, out of excitement of the deriang. Plus PERMAISURI was in view of its merry-er bazaar on Sat morning. Spent entirely in T-BUGIS. Mow-ing to make some clearance. No specific task was set. A drop-by in P-Panjang to note that the orchard was mow-ed, together with others. The same was desired in T-Bugis.

Jul 28 Mon 3 Safar 1447H, re-stocking the kitchen sundries. Opted Mydin in the Diplomatic. And ended with Arabian treat in nearby Al-FIRDOUS.

The August Autumn

Aug 1 Fri 7 Safar 1447H, was at home in Sg Merab. It was not an autumn after all, it was not even autumn-like. Summer-like was still very much around. It was an autumn of retrospectivity.

Aug 3 Sun 9 Safar 1447H, DRVTGG in TAV with NA. Both traffic, even in MRR2, and weather were on our side. Setoff ca ten in the morning, refreshed in Temerloh, refuelled in Prasing, arrived in Sepetir before four, i.e., less than the bench mark six h. TRG was dry, noting the sea was very calm and blue.

Aug 4 Mon 10 Safar 1447H, DRV-JERTEH. NA has one legal matter to sort with a dependable dispatch. Dropped by in P-Rimau and T-Bugis. In the former, not much development apart from never-stopped develop weeds. Three tandans were seen, still green, but unsure their fullness. In the latter mowing was half done. The thing was the fallen deriang tree had been taken away. Noted signs of back-hoe tyre, and obviously a lorry. A hi in P-Panjang after a singgah in Sejid An-Nur.

Aug 13 Wed 19 Safar 1447H, DRVKUL in TAV with NA. It was a fine morning, noted the NAMBUNG WORK in rumah MOK. The weather was fine through out. A refreshment, refuelling in PAKA RR, and a wash in MARAN LB. On LPT1, detour at Lanchang Exit for an off-road tour. Passing the nostalgic Lanchang, and a brief stop in Karak. Eventually ikan-sungai spree in Bentong. Traffic throughout was smooth even at half past four in MRR2 when we joined after Gombak toll.

Aug 5 Tue 11 Safar 1447H, fetched OGAWA in TokJiring, warded since Jul 15 Tue. Now the maintenance cost of the chenso is close to its price, from ca ten y ago. Noted new brands of chenso on the shelf with competitive price, but unsure the performance. Passing PTJ and PKB, but landings were scarce even though the sea was very fine. Blue sky and nearly breezeless. The days onward were in WT-HOME, mowing and maintaining the perimeter. MARAS BAZAAR was visited Aug 8 Fri 14 Safar 1447H, prior to visiting Ani's first grandchild, the #1daughter of Najidah, in Pusu Tiga. TJHOME was partially maintained, Aug 9 Sat 15 Safar 1447H. It was too hot without a shadow cover to complete the frontal.

Aug 12 Tue 18 Safar 1447H, a quick visit to KUZA BAZAAR. As always noted a fraction of the stalls were of the same in all the bazaars around the vic. Nonetheless these two creatures posed question of who they were. Their faces were covered, xcept the eyes, no sound made, etc. Their visibility is not possible to escape the notice of the organizer. Ostensibly they were siblings, as I similarly noted in Permaisuri Bazaar Jan 4 Sat. Who actually were inside the ballon?

Aug 14 Thu 20 Safar 1447H, a frolic in the ANNUR Bangi with an otorhinolaryngology-ist. The right ear discomfort last night turned out to be a PIRAS, as seen in the camera was perhaps a couple of days already, and thus from TGG. The removal was rather painful, as expected, both physically, and financially.

Aug 15 Fri 21 Safar 1447H, Sejid MPI, a unique sejid sharing the uniqueness with two other IPTA, UTM and UMT in that they are right in the heart of the campus. To join the sejid one needs to pass the security. During certain period like covid time, passing the security was an agony, to the extent that, no outsider was allowed in. The sejid of other IPTA are at the edge of the campus. When we moved in Sg Merab in 1987, MPI was still a fetus, together with neighbouring PLPP. The road from Nipondenso was so alone up to B-Baginda. Either palm oil, or rubber lined the road sides, all abandoned.

A Westerly Season

Evening torrential thunderous rain which could extend to the night. Afternoon could be very hot. With that landings were inconsistent.

Aug 17 Sun 23 Safar 1447H, Sun morning visited Bazaar Tenera for some kitchen sundries. Noted the absence of the roti that we targeted for. For that NA accomplished herself with a homemade the next day Aug 18 Mon 24 Safar 1447H, under a strict precaution with regard to the mis-diagnosed candida for the alzema. Ruby, Malini et ank2 dropped by in the evening for a KEK-ing. Made a short remark on the significance, but caught not as much attention. Preceded by PokJo on his return from a Viet golf-trip.

Aug 20 Wed 26 Safar 1447H, Malini-Wazif took us 3-beranak, sans Asri, for a lunch treat to RESTORAN CENGKIH KOPITIAM, in Desa Pinggiran Putrajaya. It was a nice place, and nice menu, repeatable when convenient. This was our second visit. The first visit was 2024 Jun 7 Fri 29 Z-Kaedah 1445H during the officiation of the Kopitiam.

Aug 30 Sat 6 R-Awal 1447H, DRV-JERTEH. The main task was to stay in TBugis, NA wanted to go fertilising the deriang in taking the advantage that the orchard had recently been cleared off the undergrowth. The main tool thus was a CHENSO. Opted OGAWA since it fires easily. The task was nearly accomplished. Singgah P-Rimau to note that water-supply piping was in place, waiting for the meter. Samso had weeded the lot, but may not be so effective since raining almost every evening. Homeward, lalu Gong Lilit. An attempt to eat in Ru-10, but ended a pax in Nibong.

Aug 16 Sat 22 Safar 1447H, drove TAV with NA, heading SERI MENANTI, NS, attending a walimah of NA's KIK class-mate, Fathiah, the wedding of her daughter, in SERI SIANTAN. Lalu PLUS southward, exited Senawang. Gambang-Muadzam-Serting-KPilah-Seremban-Bangi was my occasional route in post 2010, especially during wet season in the year end. Noted that Ampangan, Paroi were beyond the era memory. And before that during Seremban-Tampin-Gemas-Segamat era.

Aug 22 Fri 28 Safar 1447H, DRVTGG with NA in TAV. Deliberated to stop by Kuantan to attend Kamal's walimah of EFFA wedding reception in BUKIT RANGIN PERDANA-2. Weather and traffic from KL were fine. Arrived RUMAH EFFA. Arrived exactly at the same time was SBHANIS x-iKEROH. Noted adik-beradik ipar just returned from jumaat, notably KAMAL and FAIS. RUBY-4-beranak with EDI, Afiah, Adil arrived late morning, they started in Pujo just after taking the kidos to School in Bangi. It was a very simple event, but seen on every one, with a lot of doa. Makan2. Sembang2, especially with Kamal's sister. The continued drive on LPT2 was in race with clusters of RXZ-er, however, it was harmless since they were bikes only. Reached home in WTengah before dark with a dinner pax x-WSira bazaar.

Remembering a Time

Sep 1 Mon 8 R-Awal 1447H, started Sep with a b-fast in Pondok Santai of Dr Abdullah Sipat in PTJ. Dr Abdullah joined. Roslan also joined. Reminisce-ing.

DRV-RU10 after the PTJ b-fast. Primary task was the kepok-segera of ANKPOKKU. Weaved with makan2. One eatery, the Nasi Ulam Dapur Arang was notable. Alas, settled with just a kembong-bakar. At home, setting for DRVKUL tomorrow, especially audited the g-floor.

Sep 2 Tue 9 R-Awal 1447H, DRVKUL in TAV with NA. It was a gloomy day in the east. Some gerimis in the wet area in Dungun. The rest the weather was very comfortable. And the traffic too. E-839, exited and singgah the CHENIH TOWN for another ABE treat. On resumption, in Nerang, noted w-shop NUSI, bigger, and the eatery KAKDAH, both helped ASRI and I when WIRA had the alternator belt broken, 2019 Jan 15 Tue, on our DRVKUL, the last time Wira made the TGG-KUL-TGG drv. LPT1 drv was comfortable, both weather-wise and traffic-wise. Singgah Kuantan LB for washroom. KL was not wet when we arrived although the sky appear rather gloomy.

Sep 15 Mon 22 R-Awal 1447H, JENANG, Marang, for another walimah, that of the wedding reception of son of paternal cousin Kamarian-Awen, ank AyhEndut. The place was as pingitan as the Tok Langit. On the way home passed Tertak Batu the place where a family chapter was closed with the burial of Ayu Fariha in 2008 Aug 24 Sun, following her father Amin, who followed his wife, Akmam, our beloved sister.

Sep 5-7 Fri-Sun 14 R-Awal 1447H, a time to remember. Again, organised by ank2. This time was in Akasia Lodge, Pengkalan Balak Melaka. The last gathering was 2017, Banting. Then the covid menace cursed every routine. The first of such perhaps 2010 Awana Kijal.

Sep 11 Thu 18 R-Awal 1447H, dropping in DBP again. Could not remember when was the last time dropping, but it was for the same reason, delivering NA for a meeting BAR-DBP. Parked TAV in G3 ug, lingered in the ANJUNG while waiting for NA. Home-ed, just before zohor.

Sep 14 Sun 21 R-Awal 1447H, DRVTGG, detouring to BERA Temerloh, Pahang, attending the walimah of Marzuki AbgZak on his double wedding of son-daughter. CB, ASRI accompany-ed. Tagged MUZANI ET AL who was more familiar with the NS inner area bordering Pahang. Basically took LEKAS to cross NS to Jelebu, KKlawang, to Bera, in a kampong pingitan Tok Langit by Pahang River bank. On conceding, Muzani took CB, ASRI home, while we proceeded DRVTGG by Chenor, Maran and joined LPT. RUBY ET AL arrived x-Bangi when we had left Bera. They proceeded to TGG too, and rendv-ed in HOMEWT at far m-night. The weather was fine. The traffic was reported as very bad in the MRR2-GOMBAK-KARAK. But we had avoided. In the mean time, MALINI ET AL apparently setoff heading TGG too for CG-Ros family event in Narik. They arrived in HOMETJ, mid-day from Sg Merab Sat night after roaming quite a congestion.

FOTOTEKSES-85 is for 2025 Sep 16-30, topping COVID-MCO-es, the has been which perhaps currently has no more relevancy. Mid Sep was school break. Thus plenty of walimah being held. Including several misses because of unreachable distance.

Sep 16 Tue 23 R-Awal 1447H, it was a calm morning, the sun was rising. Noted that Ruby et al were in TJHOME for a few days more. Malini et al were in Narik fam-day, also for a couple of days, including she said a day-trip to Redang. Gave TV a caring treat, had it oil refreshed-ed, as well as the front tyre pair which had cracks all around due to outdating. As always I was not a good pro. I was made waiting for three hrs to get that simple routine services of changing the oil and the tyres at a tyre service station. When TV was ready, all the young men with new cars who arrived later than me had long gone. And returned 5h later to collect the missing wheel caps.

Sep 21 Sun 28 R-Awal 1447H, a visit to SATU J-SIsmail filing a report of the broken water meter of HOMETJ. The report was filed, and as always, waited. Followed by attending the WALIMAH Salleh x-chaiman in Sungai Rengas. While in Sg Rengas, the instant memory was the Padang Midin school mates, Razak Mohd, Ismail Mohd-B, and Zaharah Ahmad. SATU replaced the meter the following day Sep 22 Mon 29 R-Awal 1447H, we noted it on the way back from SABASUN, finishing off mySARA of 1H.

Sep 23 Tue 1 R-AKHIR 1447H, joining a b-fast gathering of a few SASian-6770-TRG in a r-canai stall of the Padang Negara Food Court. Present were Mohd Embong, Jalil Ghani, and Abdullah Yusof, all happened to be of F3A Padang Midin 1966, plus one Shahrom Dayat, a Johorean who settled and retired as a teacher in TRG.

Sep 24 Wed 2 R-Akhir 1447H, another DRV-JERTEH, mainly to resume the clearing task left on last Sat. The second task was to fell two kelat with young fruits after seeing last Sat that the fall tree had the fruit harvestable. It ripened after four days in WTengah, undamaged by mocca, except that the size was small taking into account that it was in the cluster-1. An additional third task was to mow under the TOKLITOP in order to apply fertiliser. All tasks were accomplished. We were home just before iser after a meal in KAMPUNG KITA, and smayang in T-Papan.

Sep 29 Mon 7 R-Akhir 1447H, DRVKUL after fourteen days since Sep 14 in TRG, one of a long turn. Passing BATU-6 for some eatable. The weather was fine, and especially the traffic in both LPT2 and LPT1, with an all-in-one break in Prasing RR. The traffic in MRR2 was great. KL was dry when we arrived, and ca half an hr faster than the ETA.

Sep 30 Tue 8 R-Akhir 1447H, accomplished three tasks. One, legal-compliance duplication blanks, two, submission of legal request docs, and three, got the wheezy sound TAV emitted, identified.

Sep 17 Wed 24 R-Awal 1447H, walimah rumah Mok, nebor. The wedding reception of her grandson. We turned up early. Every one were delighted with the very tasty meals and drinks as the host was a school canteen operator.

Sep 20 Sat 27 R-Awal 1447H, DRV-JERTEH, principally to attend the walimah of Dr Nazri, a NA's once a client, in P-Panjang, on the double wedding of his sons. However, a sudden news last night of the passing in Panchor, Hulu Besut, of a NA's school-college-mate, the visit was preceded, and on time for the burial. A popped-in P-Panjang after the walimah. Finally a couple of hrs in P-Rimau, pruning-clearing the corner with Surau off a fallen tree. It was almost sunset when we conceded. A makan in Bari, smayang in TLaga Papan, and home for a good night sleep. Ruby wasap-ed that they set off from HOMETJ Bangi-ward ca ten-thirty after a b-fast in her CheDa Zu place.

Sep 26 Fri 4 R-Akhir 1447H, completed a 10-Year solemn life with NA since 2015. The ANNIVERSARY day was quiet and private in HOME-WT, as well as in HOME-TJ. Nonetheless, ank-cu2 had already aware of it when we were in Akasia early Sep.
