It was in Sek Men Keb BBBangi, later more familiarly known as Sek Men Jalan 2 when more Sec Schools were built in BBB, the alma mater of Rubaini for two weeks before checking in Sek Men Agama Selangor (SMAS) in Kajang in 1991, and Muzani for his complete secondary school, 1998-2003, and Alya for her lower secondary school 2002-2005 before moving to Sek Men Sains Seri Puteri (SESERI) for her upper Sec School.
The school was opened in 1985 as the first Sec School during primitive Bandar Baru Bangi, two years later than its neighbouring Primary congener Sek Ren Jalan 2, the full alma mater to all my children, like that of Sek Keb Bukit Tunggal in TGG to all my bothers and sisters.
Asri checked-in in the school today, in F1 (Amanah), to begin his next phase of trial of life. The school would officially start 2013 Jan 2 Wed, and he would be in a mood very different from that of when he stepped-in the first day of Primary. He said he did not need me to stay close every day, the way he needed his mother from day one 2007 Jan 3 Wed 1427 D'Hijjah 13, for the solid year.
This year cohort is the second batch of Lower Secondary with PMR abolished. The evaluation is replaced with PBS (Penilaian Berasaskan Sekolah), an on-line (to KPM data-base) practically daily assesement, to be cummulated at the end of third year. 2015 end for Asri, after which in 2016, he would begin his upper secondary.
